From Nurses to Visionary Entrepreneurs, Transforming Lives Through Purpose-Driven Ventures
In a world where love and ambition often walk separate paths, Paul and Erika Zuzon’s journey together is a testament to how deeply intertwined they are. Both Filipinos, they started from humble beginnings in the Philippines and traveled to the UK seeking better opportunities. What followed was not just personal success but a partnership that proves love, dedication, and shared dreams can lead to extraordinary achievements.
What made Paul’s entrepreneurial journey even more remarkable was his unshakable belief that success was not only about personal achievement but also about lifting others. His company grew from having a single client to completing over thousand hours of work per week, empowering hundreds of employees, from carers to nurses. Through it all, Paul’s deep sense of duty to his employees, his clients, and their customers has been a driving force.
But behind every visionary entrepreneur is a pillar of support, and for Paul, that pillar is his loving wife, Erika Bianca Maria Galvez Zuzon. A dedicated Recovery Nurse since 2009, Erika made her mark in the healthcare sector in the UK, providing care and support to countless patients. Today, she serves as the administrator of Brylee Care, where her organizational expertise and dedication play a critical role in the company's success.

Despite numerous challenges, the couple carved out a remarkable career trajectory spanning healthcare, recruitment, storage solutions, and the culinary scene.
“Success for me is a duty, an obligation, and a responsibility—and I’m just beginning to tap into my fullest potential”. -Paul
Paul’s leap into entrepreneurship was born out of necessity and vision. In 2018, he declined a prestigious nursing post in the U.S. due to safety concerns, he faced a sobering realization that he would need to work until 64 to fully pay off his mortgage.
“I decided to burn my ships because I wanted to conquer my island called financial freedom,” he recalls.
With just a few thousand pounds left in savings, he invested it all in mentorship and self-development.

"The best investment one can make is to invest in oneself,” Paul emphasizes.
His bold decision paid off. By 2019, Brylee Care went from having a single client and a few weekly deployments to completing over 3,000 hours of work per week.
As the owner and managing director of Brylee Care, Paul leads a UK-based recruitment agency providing reliable staffing solutions to private and public care sectors. With over 800 employees, including nurses, carers, chefs, and housekeepers, Brylee Care has become a trusted partner for clients across London and Hertfordshire. The agency not only addresses staffing shortages but also supports healthcare professionals' career growth, helping carers advance to become UK-registered nurses.

Currently, Erika serves as the administrator of Brylee Care, playing an integral role in the company's operations and success. Also a dedicated mother to their two amazing children, ages 4 and 8, Erika balances the demands of her career, family, and her role as a loving and
understanding wife to Paul, who she affectionately describes as “extremely workaholic.” Her unwavering support has been a cornerstone in their shared journey toward success.

Beyond Healthcare: Expanding Horizons
Paul’s entrepreneurial ventures extend far beyond healthcare. He co-founded uStore-it, the UK’s first franchise of a successful Spanish self-storage brand, offering secure and flexible storage solutions to Hackney residents.
In the culinary world, he’s a shareholder of Intoku Restaurants in Windsor and Reading, where top-notch sushi and Pan-Asian cuisine delight diners.
In May 2023, Paul’s desire to foster community and inclusivity led him to establish the Philippine Clay Shooting Association UK, encouraging Filipinos to engage in the sport. Through all theirs ventures, Paulo and Erika remain steadfast in his mission to help as many people as possible.
“My true purpose in life is to help as many people as I can through my businesses and endeavors,” Paul reflects.
The couple credits much of their success to personal development. “Entrepreneurship is a difficult and lonely journey,” Paul acknowledges.
“To be successful, you must invest in personal development.” Audiobooks by thought leaders like Grant Cardone and Tony Robbins shaped his approach, teaching him the importance of persistence, discipline, and consistency.
Their story is a powerful reminder that success is not only about personal achievement but also about lifting others.
“We all have that greatness inside us,” Paul shares. We just have to open our eyes and minds to realize it, think bigger, take massive actions, and bring it to life.”
As they continue to grow their businesses and inspire others, Erika and Paul remain guided by one unwavering belief: Life is too short to be average.
“Consistency, discipline, and persistence—for me, they are key to real success,” he asserts.
As a couple, Paul and Erika’s story is about more than just business or personal success—it’s about a shared purpose. Paul credits much of his own success to personal development, persistence, and the support of his family, while Erika has continuously poured love, care, and commitment into every aspect of their shared journey. Their partnership is a living proof of how love and ambition can coexist, complementing each other in a way that propels both partners toward greater heights.
